Park Inn by Radisson Davao celebrated its Christmas Tree Lighting last November 15, 2019 since this has been a yearly tradition that brings a hint that the holiday festivities in the hotel is about to start.

This year, the hotel embraces the vibe of creating a Feel Good Christmas.
The Christmas Tree Lighting was attended by distinguished guests from the City Government of Davao, government agencies, foreign consulates, local media, corporate clients, associations; and, affiliates from the SM Group.

 

 

The program started with a beautiful symphony sang by the UP Mindanao Koro Kantahanay sang awe-inspiring Christmas songs to welcome the guests.

 

Davao’s General Manager Ms. Emelyn Rosales; and, Department of Tourism XI’s Regional Director Ms. Tanya Rabat-Tan gave their short but inspiring messages.
“We all know that Christmas is all about happy times, and treasured moments. This evening gives all of us an opportunity to gather around each other and welcome the happiest season and most celebrated time of the year. This year, we have the theme Feel Good Christmas which centers on our unique Filipino values of coming together with family and friends and spending time to cherish happy times and create feel good memories,” as shared by General Manager Ms. Emelyn Rosales.

 

 

The presence of the SOS Children’s Village Davao as headed by Village Director Mr. Leonilo N. Rivera made it more meaningful as they came to celebrate. SOS Children’s Village Davao is a place for orphaned, abandoned, and neglected children where they can feel that love and belongingness to a family they can call their own; and, where they are being provided with unconditional support that can fill their emptiness inside their hearts.  Thus, the hotel is sponsoring one of the children for its advocacy to extend feel good moments to the community as part of the Hotel’s Care Program.

The children from the SOS Children’s Village sang this song entitled, “Tuloy na Tuloy pa rin ang Pasko” with UP Mindanao Koro Kantahanay and dedicated this to all the guests as well as to the generous management of Park Inn by Radisson.

 

 

 

The awaited Christmas Tree lighting led by GM. Emelyn Rosales and RD Tanya Rabat-Tan were joined by SM Hotels and Conventions Corporation’s Vice President for Quality & Sustainability Chef Leah Magallanes.

The guests enjoyed the bounty feast that reminded of a homey Christmas dinner.
