How busy are you nowadays? Can you even set aside a time for relaxation amidst chaos in this modern world? How many people think that wellness could be achieved through good nutrition and exercise?
The modern busy lifestyles made it inconvenient and gave a limited time to exercise and prepare meals or cook. Thus, this shaped the lifestyle of many people today. It can have truly a negative effect in our lives.
As a mother of two, I kept juggling both my family and career, while still finding time for social activities and personal time. Hectic schedules lead me to missed my meals, or more serious issues such as stress and fatigue. Sad to say, my rhinitis gets in the way of my busy schedule. All these things can have a negative impact on women’s health.
Thus, I enrolled myself to a yoga class, once or twice a month. I gave it a try when my friends convinced me that it improved their stamina, posture, strength, balance and flexibility since they had been doing this for more than a year. I am not new to Yoga. I know that is termed as a science of healthy living. I understood that it will helped me with my concentration, memory and creativity.
This is also a good time for Park Inn by Radisson Davao to welcome a brand new year with a healthy start. Last January 16, 2018 was a Wellness Wednesday as the hotel treated their valued clients, friends from the media and guests to a Feel Good Yoga and Massage. There was an hour of relaxing yoga session by a licensed yoga instructor, Ms. Marivic Olimba. The beginner class was then followed by a well-deserved 20-minute dry massage courtesy of Elysia Wellness Spa.
“After all the busy festive days and holiday treats most of us are guilty of indulging, we wanted to treat you to a night of meditative yoga and relaxing massage. Plus, we have the nutritious sandwiches and drinks prepared by our team from RBG Bar & Grill as a treat to wrap up a healthy evening.” shares General Manager, Ms. Emelyn Rosales.
All we need right now is to have a moment of relaxation, reduce muscle tension or be relieved from chronic pain, a yoga and a good massage can enhance our overall sense of emotional and physical well-being.
Park Inn by Radisson Davao aims to deliver a stress-free experience by emphasizing “Feel Good” as their new approach to the guests which is the heart and soul of the hotel’s brand.
