Philippine Airlines (PAL) just launched its Davao – Cagayan de Oro (CDO) flight last Wednesday, November 1, 2017 around 1:15 p.m. including its Davao – Tagbilaran, Bohol flights. Last November 2, 2017, it also launched its Davao- Zamboanga flight. These are the three (3) new direct flights via Philippine Airlines.
Flights from Davao – Cagayan will be on a daily schedule while Davao – Bohol will be scheduled four times weekly. Davao to Zamboanga flights will be three times weekly. These are convenient schedules most especially to their regular passengers as routes will be served by its four, new Bombardier Q400 New Generation aircraft with a capacity of 86 seats.

Moreover, Philippine Airlines (PAL) will be opening more new flights before the year ends.
As what Mr. Harry Inofero, PAL Senior Assistant Vice President for Visayas-Mindanao sales had said, “ We will be flying non-stop, three times daily from Manila to Aukland, New Zealand and Toronto, Canada in the middle of December.”
More International flights are bound to open this year like flights from Cebu – Bangkok and Manila – London routes.
As part of the company’s route expansion program, fleet modernization and service innovation program, PAL launched more domestic flights this year and Davao City is a part of it.
Mr. Ronald Mangahas, PAL Assistant Vice President for Airport Operation Services Outstation said, “This is to achieve our goal to make Philippines more connected domestically and internationally.”
During his speech, Mr. Robbie Alabado III, Department of Tourism Philippines, mentioned that the government is willing to support Philippine Airlines (PAL) on this important endeavor as they will be good for the Tourism Industry of Davao City. He is grateful to PAL for giving more choices now and expecting more access for people to go around Davao and promote the beauty of our City that made us really proud of.
