The Waterfront Insular Hotel Davao hosted its 2017 Appreciation Party last August 30, 2017 at the Grand Ballroom.  The party was themed “Everglow”.  This is to thank their valued clients, partners and patrons for their continued support and loyalty to the hotel throughout the years.

To make this party more promising, the Waterfront Insular Hotel invited more than 150 government, non-government and corporate clients, travel agency representatives, media and industry partners to attend the “all-black” masquerade affair held at the Grand Ballroom. 

“Everglow” was chosen to be the theme for this party because it means sense of glowing to emphasize that the night was about the relationship built throughout the years.

The guests were welcomed with a red carpet and each were given a gleaming mask to put on before they enter the grand ballroom where they can see an array of flowing cocktails.

 

The program started with a full production number from the group named “Jaz Up Danz Crew” followed by a speech from the Hotel manager, Mr. Bryan Yves Lasala, who expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all guests. Everyone couldn’t hide their excitement as there were 36 clients and partners who were awarded under the following categories: 1.) a Media Partner award to the members of the media ; 2.) an Event Supplier Award ; 3.) Winners of the raffle draw got a room and dining accommodation package each at any of these four Waterfront Hotels: Waterfront Insular Hotel Davao, Waterfront Airport Hotel and Casino, Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino and Waterfront Manila Pavilion Hotel.

Waterfront Philippines continued its vision to give excellent products and services at its very best providing gracious Filipino hospitality to satisfy guests.  They offered a number of different ways to enjoy the different cities like Manila, Cebu and Davao as they are located at the center of it all.  This new brand image they carry on has been advertised on airline magazines, local publications and online media channels.

 As what Mr. Bryan Yves Lasala simply put it during his very meaningful speech, “ We’ve themed tonight’s affair “everglow” – it means a sense of glowing, always and continuously.  It brings a feeling of warmth and bliss at a phase in life.  This is what we hope to give you – the desire that despite the change of winds and the way waters flow, the light that we leave you will everglow.”

 

The awarding ceremony ended with a toast from the Waterfront Hotels’ Group Sales Manager for Vismin, Ms. Antoniette Alburo – Elmido, joined by the entire management team of Waterfront Davao and Group Marketing Communications Manager, Ms. Pia Xenia de Villa.

The finale of the program was a very entertaining number from the colorful and energetic group called the Tribu K’Mindanawan Performing Arts.

It was an event to remember as everyone was cheering and dancing their night away listening to the beat of the music with good food and seeing amazing people around greeting anyone with their best smiles. The party hosted by Waterfront Insular Hotel Davao really found its way to connect them to their clients.
