It was Friday and I felt like going to a place where I could relax and have casual conversation with close friends.  I had a busy week and I wanted to give myself a reward for that.

 I was invited to attend a Cocktail Night at Waterfront Insular Hotel that same day and it was just perfect timing for my mood. 

The Second Cocktails and Conversations Night was held at Vinta Bar where invited guests like corporate clients, events suppliers and media partners were welcomed to eat, drink and mingle.

 There were expected 30 guests to arrive that night.  It was a cozy atmosphere as we listened to one lovely singer who performed old and modern love songs to brace the night away.  While we enjoyed listening to her captivating voice, we were given white wine to drink. With this, the hotel is offering a wide selection of prime wine in partnership with Titania Wine Cellar, Inc. which sells best selling wines from France, Italy, Spain, Australia and United States and Chile.

Executive Chef Victor Barangan introduced some food and beverage items for the months of April, May and June of this year 2017 together with the expertise of the Food and Beverage Service Manager Eugene Gozun.

We met some of the corporate directors and department managers of other properties of the Waterfront Hotels and Casinos who were just in time for the cocktail event.

The most awaited part of the night was the giving away of special prizes for the winners who can answer trivia questions correctly.  I was one lucky winner to receive a limited edition merchandise item and a cap to go with it.

 We even got a chance to sing the night away as the performer requested us to choose our favorite song on stage.  And guess what? I performed bravely ( due to the effect of the two glasses of wine I drank) and sang my favorite song since college, “ I’ve Fallen for you” by Jamie Rivera.  I felt like I owned the stage that night.

 I can say that it was totally an awesome night filled with laughter and music.
